Nihar Nayak is an Indian Actor, born and raised in Odisha, India. Nihar studies professional Acting at “The Houde School Of Acting” in the United States of America (USA). He strongly believes that acting is like any other mainstream profession; someone needs to study before pursuing it as a career.
Nihar also achieved his Master in Computer Application (M.C.A) Degree from North Orissa University. After his master, he worked in a Top IT MNC as a Solution Architect for years in various countries around the world. From childhood his dream was to be an actor and it took him a long time to live out his dream.
He has been acting from his 4th standard of school and has participated in many state level plays. Before his training he also received a few awards.
His career began with a movie called “Slave to the Rhythm” by Patrick Manway (IMDB Link) in 2017. He then worked on several short movies, music videos and modeling assignments.
He was also selected for a small part of a Hollywood movie “The Act Of Violence” starring Bruce Willis, however due to his work authorization in the U.S. he had to leave the movie. The Director of the Movie “Brett Donowho” selected him out of the many people who auditioned for it.
Nihar is a fitness freak. He transformed himself from 218 lbs to 155 lbs while preparing for Acting as a career. He has taken training in Sports Health and Nutrition. Although he does not currently have a specialization, Nihar enjoys helping out people who wish to reach their fitness goal.
,Nihar was very patient when my crew was setting up shots between scenes at our locations. He made sure to memorize his lines and arrived on time to the locations. He even took the liberty to bring extra outfits to the set to see which one I would like best for the scene. I was also impressed by his head shots, resume and his eagerness to get involved in, and audition for any acting opportunity that he came across. It was a pleasure to work with him.

I want to thank my other main actor, Nihar Nayak, for going clearly outside of his comfort zone for this insignificant project. I'm honored, truly. I wanted him in this project against the possible doubts of others because I know the struggle of being different.
